We had the option of going with the same design as the original Ashura, but we decided to renew the mold. However, we chose a different design approach to increase the number of catches and further enhance its value by using the development know-how we have cultivated so far and adjusting the specifications to suit modern bass. By changing the lip, we have made the part that fluttered slightly when reeling in quickly more natural, and achieved a sharp jerk that includes a moment of restraint to achieve instantaneous speed. The original back-stabbing lip is a lip that goes inside the body, which is absolutely necessary for the structure, and a forward-leaning posture caused by the weight of the surrounding meat that holds it. In addition, a strong eye tune is created due to the left and right misalignment of the lip caused by the left and right clearance that is necessary for manufacturing. The one-piece molded lip, which has been set to the ultimate setting, improves straightness and makes the floating posture more horizontal. The fixed weight has also been changed from a round ball to a low-center-of-gravity plate-shaped weight, improving the stability of free reeling and the ability to recover from a roll. The hook has been changed from a heavy to a regular wire to counter short bites. The Ashura II is a further evolution of the original, inheriting the high performance of the original while incorporating new features to capture modern bass.
