It is difficult to capture the strong rip currents and the bottom of the steep and deep surf with just a conventional heavy sinking minnow. Also, on days with strong sea breezes in early spring and late autumn to winter, it is extremely difficult to get the lure to the desired point. In such situations, metal jigs are effective. However, with ordinary metal jigs, it was difficult to find a satisfactory one for fishing special fish in a special field such as flounder in the surf.
