■Micro module gear
Micro module gear is a mechanism that makes the teeth as small as possible.
By densely and numerously meshing fine teeth, smooth power transmission is achieved without reducing strength.
Gear noise during winding has been reduced and sensitivity has been dramatically improved.
Micro module gears have been gradually introduced in baitcasting reels, but incorporating them into spinning reels, which have many structural constraints, requires advanced technology.

The reason why the precision gears can be supported without the slightest deviation is because of the highly rigid and highly accurate metal body.

■X-SHIP
A gear system that efficiently transmits the input power and enables more powerful winding.

By enlarging the gears, revising the optimal layout, and improving the tooth surface precision and support performance, we have achieved lighter reeling.

■HAGANE Body
The HAGANE body is a metal body with high rigidity.

It ensures rigidity and impact resistance that can withstand unexpected impacts, and by minimizing deflection, it converts the angler's power into "power" to reel in.

■Magnum Light Spool Three
An ultra-thin spool that thoroughly pursues low inertia. Aim at will as if crawling on the surface of the water.
The Magnum Light Spool 3 is the latest generation of Magnum Light Spool, which has evolved from the first generation Magnum Light Spool to the second generation Magnum Light Spool.

By making the spool even thinner, we have achieved a lower inertia than before without compromising durability.

In addition, the spool installed in the new Antares has a narrow shape of 19mm width for an outer diameter of 34mm,

which achieves a lower inertia of about 15% compared to the second generation Magnum Light Spool.

In addition to long-distance casting performance, it also achieves a lighter start-up that far exceeds the conventional one, an exhilarating casting feel that extends endlessly,

and a significant improvement in trouble-free performance.

■S3D Spool

This spool has improved weight balance and dimensional accuracy to suppress vibration during casting.

Vibration noise has been reduced by half from the previous model (compared to our previous model).

Even when releasing the line at high speed, there is very little rattling or uneven rotation, providing stable casting performance.

Both the casting distance and the casting accuracy have been improved dramatically.

■Silent Tune
This mechanism reduces the vibration of the bearings during high-speed rotation by applying slight pressure to the bearings that hold the spool.
This achieves even quieter casting. The spool rotation also starts up even smoother.

■NEW 4×8DC
The NEW 4X8 digital control brake, which has four modes: FL (fluoro), P (PE), NM (nylon), and X (extreme long cast), and eight dial settings, allows for more precise settings to suit various situations than the previous model.

■S A-RB
The A-RB is the industry's first "surface modification" to form a "passive layer" that repels rust, creating a bearing that is rust-resistant.
The SA-RB also seals the sides with a rust-proof material, significantly reducing salt buildup caused by salt recrystallization inside the bearing.

■Super Free Spool
When the clutch is released, only two bearings support the spool, making the spool free performance as light as possible.

■ Seawater OK
Shimano's unique high-performance bearings, S A-RB and A-RB, which prevent rust, and the exterior are treated with anti-corrosion, so you can use it safely even when fishing in the sea.
