Katsutaka Imae and Yuki Ito aimed to draw targets at depths of 4m or more with a small shad body that is only 57mm. The mounting position of the rare center of gravity instantaneous movement system "Micro LBO PAT." is positioned to create an ultra-forward leaning posture that is impossible with a normal ball center of gravity.
Ito designed it with an ultra-forward mount that brings the center of gravity head close to the joint between the lip and the body, and allows for an ultra-thin shaft with built-in bearings. In a laboratory field test using 6lb. fluorocarbon, the small shad equipped with a big lip was able to achieve an impressive ultra-long distance flight and generate an incredible diving vector.
