From the latter half of February onwards, bass will move to shallower ranges in preparation for full-fledged spring. The previously released South Blade 20g was designed to target wintering bass in the 3.5-5m range, but the new 17g was developed to target pre-spawn bass in the 1.5-3m range. Within the 3m range, the remaining weeds become thicker and more numerous, but even in tricky weed areas, the light and direct feel of the rod allows you to narrowly avoid the weeds and hit big bass hiding in the weed holes.
