A silver wolf, a battle-hardened black sea bream with sparkling silver scales.
And the Ginro brand is a weapon for hunters who hunt down the clever black sea bream (chinu).
The culture of black sea bream (chinu) fishing, which has been nurtured over a long history, shows no signs of slowing down.
As fishing methods evolve, so too will tackle.
Cooler and more aggressive. One step ahead of the eternal rival called black sea bream (chinu).

A quick drag strongly supports the increasingly sophisticated black sea bream (chinu) fishing method.A three-
dimensional attack that sinks the float. And the spread of PE lines. Fishing for black sea bream (chinu), which has rapidly become more advanced in recent years, may be reaching a major turning point.
Following this trend, the 6th generation of the series, ``Ginro LBQD'', debuted with even more exclusive features. The specification that can be said to be a symbol of the special design with an eye on modern black sea bream (chinu) fishing is the QD quick drag (QD), which is the first LB for float fishing.
Quick drag is a drag system that allows you to loosen the drag knob from the maximum position to a nearly free level by simply turning the drag knob about half a turn. Until now, this mechanism was used in LB's "Battle Game LBQD" for bluefin squid, and while a typical drag can only be loosened by turning the drag knob about 4 times on average, a quick drag only takes about half a turn. It's done.
Why do you use quick drag when fishing for black sea bream (chinu)? This is in consideration of the use of PE line, which is gradually gaining market share.
Although its merits have been recognized, PE lines have not yet become popular in shark fishing, but with the advent of high-density PE lines such as ``Iso Dura Sensor x 8SS + Si2'' and ``Iso Sensor SS + Si'', they are rapidly becoming popular. .
PE line with low stretch and high sensitivity clearly transmits underwater information to the hand, but it also directly transmits shocks from the angler's side. PE line has excellent linear strength, about three times that of nylon, and it seems that around 0.6 is often used for hook fishing for black sea bream (chinu), but while it is praised for its operability and sensitivity, I'm starting to hear that the number of cases has increased.
What can I do to prevent this mismatch? The answer we came up with to solve the problems that arose due to the PE era was Daiwa's unique drag mechanism, Quick Drag. When fishing for black sea bream (chinu), you tend to prefer soft rods to

ensure proper hooking while preventing the fish from breaking.
When fishing for black sea bream (chinu), many people use a soft rod to hook the fish around the mouth of the hard black sea bream (chinu).
In most cases of floating fishing or submerged fishing, the line is kept a bit taut and waiting for the fish to strike, and it is only natural that if you raise the rod all at once, it will put a heavy load on the line. Also, even when fishing with a stick float that creates a moderate amount of line dandruff, if there is a hit, a strong load will be applied to the line from zero to at once. When the drag is tightened, the bigger the opponent, the higher the risk of losing the hook.
That's where the quick drag comes in. Once the bait is loaded, loosen the drag and let the bait flow. If there is a hit, keep the drag loose and adjust it. At the moment of alignment, the drag will slip to avoid alignment failure. Then tighten the drag and move on to the exchange.
At this point, many people may be wondering, ``Does the drag slip at a level close to free and still hold firmly?''
Let's answer clearly. Even when the drag is loosened, it provides the same hooking power as nylon.
I conducted an experiment on the hooking force with the drag loosened. This involves setting up a bar at a distance of 30m from the tip of the rod, making strong connections between nylon and PE, and measuring the instantaneous load applied. As a result, the average hooking power was about the same for nylon with the drag fully locked and PE line with the quick drag relaxed. Of course, there were no problems related to alignment during actual fishing tests.
Drag tension when loosening the quick drag is about 100g. Since PE line does not stretch, this slight reversal resistance acts to provide sufficient hooking force.
The trick to adjusting the drag when using PE is to loosen the drag until the hook hits and connect to prevent the hook from breaking, and then tighten the drag after hooking to instantly switch to an attacking position. The quick drag mechanism allows you to switch between loosening and tightening by simply turning the drag knob about half a turn.
PE line has increased line options, and black sea bream (chinu) fishing is about to enter a new era. The ``Ginro LBQD'', which can switch between offense and defense with a single action, can be said to be a state-of-the-art LB reel that can be used in all directions for today's black sea bream (chinu) fishing, which is diversifying at a remarkable pace.
