Heavy sinking minnows can achieve overwhelming flight distances due to their weight, but their swimming response is poor and they can only swim at fast retrieves. The G Control uses a second lip designed in the belly area to generate lift that lifts the body, counteracting the force that tries to sink and dramatically improving response at slow retrieves. Despite its weight of 20g, it is now possible to swim at the same retrieve speed as a 10g sinking minnow, half the weight.
