SMITH Magnum Surger Saltwater Lure

A larger model that can go further and stronger

The Magnum Surger is a minnow jig developed for blue fish such as tuna, yellowtail, and amberjack that migrate near the surface. Of course, it is also ideal for mahi-mahi, bonito, and meji.

Despite its heavy weight, it has a well-known surger action that has been further refined, and swims with a spectacular movement, with a wobbling roll on the retrieve and a vibration on the fall.

It is easy to use. After casting, count down to the target swimming layer, let it sink, and simply pull it while controlling the rod angle and reeling speed to trace a certain layer. Especially on calm days when the water surface is flat, it is more effective to pull it at a speed that leaves a V-shaped waveform just below the water surface.

In situations where you can see the fish, such as when they are hitting a school of fish, it is recommended to lure them with a stop-and-go action on the fall and retrieve.
