Infinity Drive
The conventional X-SHIP structure achieved light winding by supporting both ends of the pinion gear with bearings.
This new model is equipped with an Infinity Drive structure that is an evolution of that structure.
The main shaft, which was previously supported by a pinion gear, has been made non-contact and supported by a special low-friction bush, significantly reducing the sliding resistance of the main shaft.
In addition, a special surface treatment has been applied to the main shaft itself, successfully reducing friction even further.
Rotational torque has been reduced by approximately 30%* compared to conventional models, and high loads have been reduced.
