Development to create the ultimate claw bait started with a thorough review of the actions of previous claw and hog worms. After repeated action tests and actual fishing in a super clear pool, we found that bites were concentrated when the worm "showed a lifelike movement." Those that move seductively during the fall moved while it was falling, and those that showed their true potential in the subsequent luring were during that luring, and so on. In other words, if there was a gap where the worm lost its appeal during the series of movements from landing on the water to being picked up, it meant that a bite opportunity was lost. OSP's first worm, the Drive Claw, "has all parts functioning efficiently and continues to lure bass at any time and in any situation."
