A 4.5-inch drive stick non-salt model that was born by a hot request from a loco angler.

The trigger is the so-called "Nagoya fishing method", which originated in Lake Biwa North Lake. Briefly explaining that deep fishing, it is a style in which a lightweight jig head is set on a stick bait type worm and a big bass is killed by swimming while delicately shaking it.

What is required of the worm is not only a natural shape and action that imitates a baitfish, but also a swimming posture that allows it to swim naturally without sticking too much to the bottom and a light material.

At the same time, even a lightweight jig head has its own weight that allows it to be cast far. Bait that satisfies these conflicting conditions is rare, but Spec 2, which is a low specific gravity model of drive stick, was selected among them.

However, Spec 2 has a low center of gravity by putting a small amount of salt only on the ventral side in order to provide stability with a no-sinker rig. The ideal setting sought by anglers who specialize in the Nagoya fishing method is "a stable posture that allows for slower swimming than spec 2, and a soft touch to the bottom and weeds".
