The basic ways to use a metal jig can be roughly divided into two: "just reeling" and "jerking", but this "Stay Fall" was developed with a focus on "jerking". There are various ways to "jerk", but the one I use most often and have had the most success with is the "Black Panther Jerk". Jerk three times (reel in three times as well) and let it fall, then jerk three more times and let it fall, repeating this process. The jerk gets the fish interested, and then the fall gets them to bite.
