The basic ways to use a metal jig can be roughly divided into two: "just reeling" and
"jerking". This "stay fall" was developed with a focus on "jerking".
There are various ways to "jerk", but the one I use most often and have had good results with is the "black panther jerk".
Jerk three times (reel the reel three times as well) and let it fall,
and repeat the same process of jerking three times and letting it fall.
This is a technique that gets the fish interested in the jerk and makes them bite with the fall.
