Conventional spinning reels generally have a body cover fixed to the body with screws to support both ends of the drive gear. The monocoque body was created by reviewing this structure and aiming to further improve rigidity and rotational accuracy.
Body rigidity has been significantly increased by eliminating the conventional body cover and directly screwing the highly precisely finished engine plate. It also contributes to improving gear support accuracy and airtightness.

The monocoque body, which does not require screw holes to fasten the body cover, dramatically expands the effective space inside the body compared to conventional structures.
