Enjoy the infinite field to the fullest! “Aiming ECastism 25

Pursuing the performance necessary for castism targeting various fish species. Equipped with aluminum machine-cut Tough DigiGear to improve durability. Adopts a screw-in handle to completely eliminate looseness. In addition, the overall weight has been reduced by adopting a lighter spool, and further improved casting performance has been achieved. This specification is even more reassuring for castism, which involves repeating casting and retrieval over and over again. Two types of drag are available: a quick drag, which is effective for fishing with a standing rod, and an ATD, which operates smoothly even in unexpected strong pulls. The spool is equipped with a line memory that allows you to see the type of line wound at a glance, and is also equipped with a line clip that is compatible with power threads and thick leaders, making it even more comfortable.

DAIWA TECHNOLOGY

■Mag Shield
Daiwa's unique waterproof structure that shuts out seawater and dust by creating a wall of magnetic oil in the gap between the body and rotor. Since there is no contact between the body and the rotor, the initial rotational performance is maintained for a long period of time while maintaining light and smooth rotation. Most of the causes of abnormal rotation noise are salt dirt and foreign matter intrusion. Except for cases where the reel is accidentally dropped into water, the incidence of unusual rotational noise from mag-shielded reels has been significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio is becoming more and more significant as time passes. This means that the longer you use it, the more effective it will be. In other words, it is proof that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of Mag Shield are at an extremely high level.
■Air Rotor An air
rotor with a structure that can be called a rotor revolution. By distributing the load through an optimal rim structure with a unique shape, we have achieved a significant weight reduction with the same strength as before. The rotor balance has also been improved, resulting in responsive rotation.
■ATD
A new generation drag system that continues to work while smoothly following the pull of the fish. Since the start is smoother than before, it is difficult to break the line, and it is less likely to cause discomfort to the fish, so it is less likely to cause unnecessary movement. It also has a unique sticky feel, which reduces the chance of running all at once even with a low drag setting, reducing the frequency of readjusting the drag during a fight, allowing you to concentrate on the fight.

■Quick drag (*QD model only)
A drag function that allows you to loosen and tighten the drag knob by just turning it around once. For example, when fishing with a long-distance rod, the rod and reel may be pulled into the water if the drag is tightened. On the other hand, if you leave the drag loose, it will take time to interact (tighten the drag) when it gets hooked, and it may come apart. With quick drag, you can loosen the drag until it engages, and then quickly tighten it after it engages, so you don't have to wait until the time comes.

■ZAION Body Rotor (*Excluding 3500 and 4000 sizes) Made
of carbon resin with carbon fiber woven into it at high density, this material has made the impossible possible by surpassing magnesium in terms of strength to weight ratio. It is used as the main part of the reel due to its ideal properties of high rigidity, light weight, and resistance to corrosion unlike metal.

imageQD shows its greatest strength in the long-distance rod fishing method. There is a world of difference depending on whether or not it is equipped with a drag that can be operated quickly.

[QD]

When aiming for red sea bream, hamafueki, large gisu, etc. with a set rod, the general rule is to loosen the drag and wait for the fish to strike. All of these fish run at once as soon as they eat the bait, and if you don't send out the line smoothly in response to the fish's movement, they may feel resistance and release the bait, or sometimes even take your tackle with them. . After getting through the run immediately after the hit, retighten the drag, adjust it, and start the exchange, but if you take the time to turn the knob over and over again, you may miss your chance.

On the other hand, with QD, all you have to do is twist the knob (one turn). With one action, you can quickly enter into an exchange from a drag-free state.

Operations such as winding the reel a little to remove dandruff or moving the device slightly while hanging the rod on the tripod are very smooth.

It can be said to be an indispensable function for casting big fish.

[ATD]

ATD is a drag that has perfected its original function by sending out the line when a load higher than the set value is applied to prevent line breakage. It has a smooth start and always applies a certain amount of resistance while the line is being pulled out. It doesn't make the opponent go wild unnecessarily, and it also takes away the opponent's stamina quickly.

Long-distance rods may not be able to fully absorb the shock of a hit or a fish thrusting through their "bending", but by having an ATD on the reel, you can make the most of the strength of the bait. This is a big advantage especially when fishing mainly by reeling. For example, in surf trolling, ATD can prevent the line from breaking, which tends to occur when using a thin line with an emphasis on distance. Even if your opponent is unexpectedly big and you are immediately attacked by a strong pull, the unique tenacity will continue to apply the resistance as set, so you will not be forced to use the line, and you can rest assured even if you get caught in the undertow when taking in. .

As you develop various types of fishing, if you adjust the drag according to the weak points of each device, you will not have any regrets. Note that depending on the settings, the drag may slip due to the load of the cast when casting long distances. At that time, there is a risk of injury such as cutting the tip of your finger on the line, so we recommend using a finger guard.

QD and ATD have each mastered their different roles as drags. If you use it properly depending on your fishing style, you can reliably take down your target.
