When retrieved slowly, the fins on the head inherited from the S-rush create a tight rolling action where the body swings slightly while swimming, then the speed is increased and when retrieved normally, the action shifts to a wide S-shaped slalom! If you further increase the retrieve speed, a zigzag action occurs occasionally between the strong wave high-speed S-shaped slalom, creating a gap between bites! When sea bass are less active or the predatory range is deep, by attacking the middle to lower layers with a combination of dead slow to slow retrieve, a gap between bites occurs each time the shift is made, and even reluctant sea bass will use their mouths without thinking!
