The EX Deep was born out of exactly "necessity"
Throughout the year, the water depth of 3-4m is a key season in most fields, and it is a range that can never be removed due to stable water temperature and amount of bait. This 3-4m range cannot be explored widely unless it is a fast moving lure. Cranks that usually dive up to 4m require a retrieve distance to dive, that is, a flight distance. However, depending on the major lakes, anglers' concentrated holidays, or the size of the bait, it is difficult to cover everything with that type, and I strongly felt the need for a deep crank that goes beyond the common sense of body size. The EX-DR was developed under the condition of not using the center of gravity movement in addition to the compact body. Eliminating the movement of the center of gravity increases the difficulty of development by several steps in order to achieve both flying and swimming, but the performance obtained is irreplaceable. Since no ribs are required to guide the weight, the lean body swims quickly, improves the bite rate in stop & go, and sustains the action that can be eaten even at slow speeds. All action performance has been improved, such as being able to withstand higher speeds even with fast winding. We succeeded in setting the weight of 12g, which was an issue, to gain a flight distance of 4m without using the center of gravity movement. The body adopts a vertical flat shape that is strong against tough conditions with a slightly narrowed width and a shad silhouette. The sides are semi-flat, making it easy to generate vibrations and flashing, which appeals to a wide range of bass and creates an opportunity to make them bite. In order to make tough bass bite, a deep crank that overturns conventional wisdom was born, which smoothly reaches 4m quickly while having a natural action with a certain shad-like liveliness.
