In addition to the Velcro type that can be quickly put on and taken off, it comes with a chloroprene leg guard that covers the opening. It increases the stability of the ankle and prevents sand and small gravel from getting into the shoes.
The midsoles at the front and back of the shoes are sewn and fixed with thick synthetic thread to prevent peeling.
