The Toto 48 Heavy Sinking is an updated model based on the Toto 48S, with improved casting and water-binding capabilities, which are weak points of micro minnows. Rather than simply adding weight, the lip has been changed to a square lip with a slightly upright shape that emphasizes water bite.
It will catch the changes in the flow that will create a bite opportunity, not only in fast retrieves during day games, but also in night games where slow retrieves are the norm. It responds linearly to rod work, and attracts targets with a sharp action just as the angler wants.
