Saltiga Rough Ride features the high-response & diving action specialized "Hiramasa Tune"!

"High buoyancy" and "exquisite eye tune" allow for a free high-response diving & woven roll action.
The quick slide action at the end ~ lift stimulates Hiramasa's instinct and turns on the predatory switch.
In the reeling fast winding, the bite zone just below the surface of the water ~ the surface of the water is appealed by swimming without breaking, and Hiramasa, which only responds to speed, uses its mouth.
High-strength thick shaft hook with a view to capturing ultra-large Hiramasa weighing over 20 kg is standard equipment.

"Dimple structure" that creates a stable flight range and bubble mask

The dimple structure on the side of the body adjusts the turbulence of the airflow in the same way as the principle of a golf ball, and realizes a stable flight distance even in strong winds. In addition, during the dive action, the air accumulated in the dimple becomes bubbles in the water and envelops the lure, creating a "bubble mask", which is fiercely appealing to the target with the synergistic effect of wobbling action + "bubbles like poppers"!

Comment from Mr. Nagayama, DAIWA staff in charge of 160F/SALIGA

We aimed to develop a diving pencil with fully reliable fishing performance that can always be brought on the ship as a one-armed lure from experts to beginners.
Japan the performance required at each Hiramasa field nationwide is different, but this lure is designed with a very high degree of control, and it is possible to produce a wide range of actions with the angler's intention. Please try to explore the actions that match your field with this lure.
And what we paid particular attention to in this lure is the lateral and diagonal lateral sliding action when lifting. From empirically Tohoku to Kanto to Kyushu, this action is universally a deadly action that can flip a switch on Hiramasa.
I hope that you will catch a major government that will break your own record with this lure.

Comment from Mr. Nagayama, DAIWA staff in charge of 140F/SALIGA

Salty Gala Fried 140F Hiramasa Tune has a careful and delicate rod action due to its small size. If the 160F is an automatic, it is easy to understand if you think that the 140F has a strong manual element. The 160F can be caught even if you pull normally without thinking too much, but the 140F has a small lure, so of course the input strike zone is small. Instead of pulling the lure with a certain input in a single rod action, we hope that you will always pay attention to the "size of the input" and the "speed of the input", control the depth at which the lure dives, and produce the best movement. Also, since the lure is manual, it is recommended that the rod is also manual. A "manual rod" is "a crisp rod that has moderate tension and can convey the angler's will to the lure with a high degree of accuracy." My recommendations are the SALTIGA C83-6 and the OUTRAGE C82-6. The line is PE4 and the leader is nylon 70lb to about 1 Hiro is the best match. We hope that Hiramasa Casting Freaks will master it and capture the clever Hiramasa.
